Foaling time is always an exciting time and we are absolutely thrilled with what our mares and stallions have produced this season. Most foals will be available for purchase and we welcome any enquires you may have on any of them.

We have been extremely lucky to be able to add some beautiful new fillies to our stud.
We thank Kerry & Paul Dunstan at Malibu Park for the oppurtunity to purchase Malibu Park Country Charm.

Fernleigh Fine Print stock have been extremely successful in the show ring and we could not have been more excited when the oppurtuntiy came up for us to purchase another beautiful Fernleigh Fine Print filly!

We have been busy moving the stud back to its original home at 'Ellangowan' Tyrendarra so have only been to limited shows.
Results have been exceptional with Inxs of Sefton being awarded with several Champion and Supreme Champions in hand and under saddle. He was Supreme Champion Riding Pony at the Bendigo Riding Pony Qualifier Show.

We have had some super results with our large pony gelding Kolbeach Seasons beautifully prepared and show by Blaine Perkins. Only 3yo we believe Cruze will be a superb childs pony with his amazing temperament.
We look forward to Blaine and Cruze gracing the show ring at Melbourne Summer Royal & Barastoc 2012.

Fairlight Acres Albany has also been to a couple of shows and was awarded Supreme Champion APSB for the 2nd year in a row at Kerang Ag Show.
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our superb young colt sired by super sire Fernleigh Fine Print! Yet to be named he is the full sibling to the amazing mare Kolbeach Aster.
Expected to mature 14h, he is a lovely black brown colour with white markings.
We have some lovely young newcomers starting under saddle this season and we are eagerly awaiting the upcoming show season.
The broodmares are looking fabulous and we are eagerly awaiting our 2011 foals due in the coming months. Most foals will be available for purchase.

*SOLD* Ellangowan Applause has been sold to a wonderful new home in Geelong. We are sure she will continue on with great success in the show and dressage arena!!
Our show season finished recently with our last show being the Barastoc HOTY in Feb. We could not have been more pleased with out success under the UK judges. Our beautiful black 2yo filly Ellangowan Applause made her debut with a 1st and then Champion Youngstock Riding Pony Show Hunter In-Hand!! Thank you to Blaine Perkins for his care and preperation of this lovely filly!
Our 2010 foals are currently being weaned and most will be available for sale.
Stud season has wound down now and we look forward to the arrival of our 2011 crop of foals.
We are expecting 4 Inxs Of Sefton foals and 1 Turberry Tom Kitten imp foal.

Calwalla Mascot RIP
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved senior stallion Calwalla Mascot. He was recently laid to rest after a tragic paddock accident during a freak storm. He touched the hearts of all that were lucky enough to have known him and he will be greatly missed.

After the terrible loss of our lovely stallion and imported mare during a busy stud season, we have been a little slack on the showing side of things. Inxs Of Sefton did however manage to attend a couple of shows with great success. His results are posted below.
We are very pleased with the beautiful temperaments and large floating movement Inxs is passing onto his young progeny.
We have recently discovered that Inxs Of Sefton has a talent for jumping!! He is pictured below during the first day of his jumping training the day after competing at the Melbourne Summer Royal Horse Show. We hope to be able to attend some Horse Trials in the near future.

October/November News:
Foaling: 18/11/2010 Our beautiful maiden TB mare Manooka Star foaled a very pretty bay filly at the respectable our of 9.45pm! Sired by Inxs Of Sefton, very fine and leggy she will mature galloway and is available for purchase.
28/10/2010 Willowcroft Fantasia has foaled a very beautiful chestnut filly with a blaze. Sired by Inxs Of Sefton she is a full sibling to Ellangowan Pop Star. Very tall and leggy she will mature galloway size and is available for sale.
Showing: Inxs Of Sefton has only been lightly shown undersaddle but is certainly making his mark as a saddle pony!! 1st Ridden Riding Pony Stallion and Champion Ridden Riding Pony Exhibit at Swan Hill Ag Show, his first Show back for the season!
Inxs Of Sefton and Fairlight Acres Albany were recently taken to the Royal Hobart Show in Tasmania and certainly made us extremely proud!! A list of results can be seen below.

Hobart Royal Show 2010
Greener Pastures: It has been an extremely sad time here at Ellangowan with the passing of our beautiful broodmare Broteifi Hot Gossip imp. She was laid to rest in October 2010 after a short in-operable illness.
We were also devastated to here of the recent passing of the lovely Inxs Of Sefton sired filly Expectations Of Sefton due to a paddock accident.
Ellangowan Flashdance: Emily Tickner and Splash have been out and about recently with outstanding results including the Royal Adelaide Show 2010 - 3rd Novice Show Hunter Large Pony, 3rd Open Show Hunter Large Pony and a placing in her rider class!
The Tickners have also been lucky enough to have recently purchased Ellangowan First Edition, a half brother to Splash.
July News: We are thrilled to hear that our resident sire Inxs of Sefton has sired a beautiful pony colt in Norfolk Island on the 20th July!! Our lovely broodmare Booligal Park Egypt, was exported to Norfolk Island in 2009, in foal to Inxs Of Sefton.
Pony Sales: Our lovely Inxs Of Sefton sired galloway filly Ellangowan Pop Star has made her way to Tasmania. We wish her new owners all the best with this beautiful filly!

New Arrival: We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new palomino colt Fairlight Acres Albany.
An extremely quiet 2009 born palomino colt to mature 13-13.2h.
